Aion Indonesia has officially announced the price of the Hyptec HT electric car, set at IDR 685 million (US$ 43,840) for the Premium variant and IDR 835 million for the Ultra variant, in Jakarta on 8th November.

The Hyptec HT was showcased in Indonesia at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) automotive exhibition in July 2024.

At the launch event in Jakarta, Major Qin, Vice President of Aion Indonesia, stated that with every purchase of the Hyptec HT Premium or Hyptec HT Ultra, the company provides lifetime warranty support for the motor, battery, and electronic control system, as well as an eight-year or 160,000-kilometre warranty for the vehicle.

"We also offer a free wall charger, covering installation costs, and a lifetime warranty for OTA (over-the-air) updates," said Major Qin. The OTA updates refer to software components that can be installed on the Hyptec HT series.

One of the features distinguishing the Hyptec HT Ultra from the HT Premium is the use of gull-wing doors, which open and fold upwards to allow passenger access in the Ultra variant.

During the press conference, Qin also discussed Aion's sales network, noting that the company currently has 20 dealer and after-sales service centres across Indonesia, with plans to expand this network further in the future.
