NIU RQi is launching soon in Nepal.

Eco Infinity, the authorised distributor of NIU electric bikes and scooters in Nepal is planning to launch the brand-new electric bike NIU RQi soon.

NIU Nepal has officially announced the upcoming launch of RQi electric bike on its social media handle. It has been developed with four years of continuous R&D daunting futuristic design, multiple impressive features, and an extended range.

Design

NIU RQi comes with a muscular yet sporty look. The company has tried to give an artistic look with no compromise on the form factor.

Front of the bike looks clean with a circular DRL with an LED headlamp. The slim indicators are located on either side right above the headlamp. Plus, it features a camera above the headlamp which lets the rider record anytime.

The side profile looks stylish with innovative design language and striking geometric lines and creasing. The shrouds on either side look bulky giving it a muscular look. The rear is simple with an LED headlamp and is integrated with the body. Plus, the rear features a split mudguard.

Rear of the bike also features a camera just above the taillamp. Both, the front and rear cameras feature Collision Detection and Automatic Recording. It is an appreciable addon in the RQi.

It comes with dual-tone colour coordination. Additionally, it is available in four different colour options: Green, Blue, Red, and Brushed Silver.

Performance

NIU RQi is powered by an in-house 7500W NIU electric motor. Interestingly, with the 93% power efficiency, it is able to produce a good 450 Nm peak torque.

It is also powered up by a 72V36AH dual Lithium Ion battery giving a total output of 5.184 kWh. It can be fully charged in 4 hours for a single battery and 7 hours for a dual battery setup.

All these features combine to produce a range of 95-105Km in a single charge. The company claims that the RQi covers 0-50 Kmph in just 2.9 seconds.

The number of riding modes is not clear at this moment. Furthermore, RQi offers plenty of safety features like ABS and TCS. Plus, it also features Brembo Brake Callipers and Pirelli Tyres for precise controls and handling.

Both Brembo and Pirelli have internationally recognised brake components and tyre manufacturers respectively.

Additional Features

RQi comes with Twin Forks at the front and Mono-Shock at the rear for suspension duties.

The overall dimensions are 2080mm in length, 835mm in width, and 1108mm in height. And, the wheelbase sits at 1455mm. RQi also comes with a ground clearance of 167mm which falls a bit on the lower side for motorbike. The kerb weight is 135 Kg.

RQi features alloy wheels and comes with a 110/70-R17 tyre in the front and a 140/70-R17 tire in the rear. Furthermore, it comes with a Dual-Disc braking system. Both front and rear features a Combined Braking System along with Dual Channel ABS and TCS.

NIU RQi Price in Nepal and Availability

RQi price in Nepal has not been disclosed as it is yet to launch. While considering its price in the international market, it is estimated to be around Rs. million to Rs. 1.3 million (US$ 7,505 - 9,755).
