Media sources claim that "Suzuki Ertiga is no longer in the Japanese company's business plan in Vietnam."

"Suzuki will have a new high chassis (CUV/SUV) model in the next 1-2 years for the domestic market, and now XL7 is the main car" media sources further added.

Meanwhile, a representative of Suzuki Vietnam said that "it is impossible to share information about the plan at this time".

At Suzuki's dealers in Ho Chi Minh City, many sales staff have also told media sources that the 2024 Suzuki Ertiga has not returned yet. At the same time, Suzuki has not informed about Ertiga's 2024 version.

"The company may not sell Ertiga any more, customers now have XL7 hybrid instead," a salesperson said.

"Currently, Suzuki XL7 hybrid has been docked in Vietnam, is doing customs clearance procedures and waiting for the date of sale," claim media sources.

Since the XL7 has started sales in Vietnam, Ertiga sales have continuously decreased, especially when the mid-cycle upgrade of the mild-hybrid engine installation was released in September 2022.
