Tesla Model 3 Highland is now officially available in Nepal.

Arete International, the distributor of Tesla EVs in Nepal, has introduced its updated Tesla Model 3 in the Nepali market.

It is one of the most popular Tesla EVs in Nepal currently. Tesla Model 3 Highland is a mid-life facelift of the already available Model 3. It offers updated exterior, interior, and quality-of-life changes in its 2024 avatar.

Additionally, the Tesla Model 3 gets an 8-Year Battery Warranty which is valid for 10000km per year for those eight years.

Design

Tesla Model 3 sports the same familiar design. However, there are a few refreshing changes that make it a bit more sporty.

The front section has been made a lot smoother. The crease lines are comparatively less than before. Moreover, the fog lamps and the vents have been completely removed in favour of a giant centre inlet.

It houses sleeker LED Headlights with prominent LED DRLs. The side profile is still the same. However, it gets a stylish larger 19-inch Nove Wheels.

In contrast, the rear profile has been updated. It gets a sharper LED Taillight where the entire unit moves up when the boot opens.

The interior gets the most noticeable changes but maintains its minimalistic theme.

Model 3 has an all-new interior with wraparound styling further surrounded by ambient lighting.

It boasts 360-degree acoustic glass for a quieter cabin. It gets updated softer Premium Materials, Ventilated Seats, Wireless Charging, 8-inch Rear Touch Display, and 17-speaker System

Additionally, the Tesla Model 3 comes in Grey, White, Blue, Black, and Red colours.

Performance

Tesla Model 3 is powered by a 198kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. It generates a max power of 270 PS and a max torque of 340 Nm. Moreover, it accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.8 seconds.

It is supported by a 58kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, capable of 550km WLTP range in a single charge. Model 3 comes equipped with an 11kW AC Charger which can fully charge in just 6 to 7 hours.

The overall specs and battery capacity remain unchanged. Because of the smoother front end and fewer creases, the drag coefficient has been brought down to 0.219Cd from 0.225Cd.

Additional Details

The dimensions are 4720mm in length, 1933mm in width, and 1441mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 2875mm.

Double Wishbone and Multi-Link with Coil Spring handle suspension duties. Tesla Model 3 ground clearance is 139mm, which is extendable up to 180mm. And, the kerb weight is 1765kg.

The boot space is 591 litres at the trunk and 88 litres at the front frunk.
