Vinfast's penetration into the Indonesian market will be followed by the inauguration of 11 official dealers in the near future by VinFast Automobile Indonesia (VAI).

There are several official Vinfast dealer locations that will operate. In the Jabodetabek area, Vinfast Depok is present at Jalan Margonda Raya No. 201 and was named the first showroom to hold a grand opening by this Vietnamese manufacturer. This dealer, which is under the management of Gallerie Setia Utama, will be one of 11 dealers that will be opened by the company. Several other regions that will follow are Central Java, West Java, Bali and Balikpapan.

The Sumatra region is also not left behind in experiencing Vinfast's rapid expansion. The target area is Medan, North Sumatra. The dealer on Jalan Medan Krakatau No. 42 will be under the management of Mega Central Autoniaga (MCA). This is the first dealer in Sumatra.

"Vinfast showrooms which will open in Depok and Medan in March will have Sales, Service and Spare Parts services, so customers don't need to worry about after sales services for Vinfast products," said Surachman Nugroho, Sales & Network Director of VAI in his statement recently.

Vinfast recorded positive results at the IIMS 2024 exhibition. The company will also continue their introduction through mall exhibition activities during the month of Ramadan at several well-known malls in Jakarta.

It has introduced six EV models at the last exhibition, namely the VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, VF 9 and VF e34. Two models were immediately offered, namely the VF 5 and VF e34.

Even though there has been no official price announcement, the two electric vehicle models have received a positive response. Both models are priced competitively between IDR 200 million to IDR 300 million (US$ 12,800 to 19,200).
