Stellantis Malaysia has launched the Leapmotor B10, an all-electric SUV, marking the second model from the Chinese automaker to be introduced in the country following the C10's arrival last year.

Two variants of the five-seater C-segment model are available: the Life and the Design.

The B10 Life is priced at MYR 107,800 (US$ 26,240), while the B10 Design is priced at MYR 118,800, both on-the-road without insurance.

A special introductory price is available for the first 200 units, reducing the cost to:

- B10 Life: MYR 99,800
- B10 Design: MYR 109,800

This rebate reduces the Life's price by MYR 8,000 and the Design's by MYR 9,000, making the B10 less expensive than the Proton eMas 7, which is priced at MYR 105,800 for the Prime and MYR 119,800 for the Premium, and the BYD Atto 3 Ultra, currently priced at MYR 118,800, with rebates applied.

The B10 measures 4,515 mm in length, 1,885 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase and a ground clearance of 170 mm, positioning it below the larger D-segment C10. Compared with the eMas 7, the B10 is slightly smaller across all dimensions, as the eMas 7 measures 4,615 mm long, 1,901 mm wide, 1,670 mm tall, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase and 173 mm ground clearance.

Available exclusively in rear-wheel drive, both B10 variants are equipped with the same single electric motor, differing only in battery capacity:

- B10 Life: 218 PS (215 hp, 160 kW), 240 Nm, 56.2 kWh battery, 140 kW maximum DC charging
- B10 Design: 218 PS (215 hp, 160 kW), 240 Nm, 67.1 kWh battery, 168 kW maximum DC charging

The seven-in-one oil-cooled motor operates at noise levels under 76 dB(A), weighs 60 kg, and achieves 94% peak efficiency in transferring power to the wheels. For comparison, the eMas 7 produces 218 PS and 320 Nm, while the Atto 3 produces 204 PS and 310 Nm.

The two CATL lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries provide WLTP-rated ranges of 361 km for the 56.2 kWh unit and 434 km for the 67.1 kWh unit. Both variants accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.0 seconds, with a top speed of 170 km/h.

AC charging requires approximately 4.2 hours for the smaller battery and 5.6 hours for the larger battery at a maximum rate of 11 kW. DC fast charging supports up to 140 kW for the 56.2 kWh battery and 168 kW for the 67.1 kWh battery, achieving a 30-80% state-of-charge in approximately 19-20 minutes. The B10 includes a standard vehicle-to-load (V2L) function, providing 3.3 kW of discharge power.

The B10 retains Leapmotor's NFC card key system and adds a Leapmotor app providing digital key functionality via a paired mobile phone, requiring numerical password entry on the centre screen for vehicle operation. The app also enables remote activation of AC, windows, and automatic locking/unlocking of doors.
