Chery Auto Philippines has launched the Tiggo rEV Luxury Edition (LE), a seven-seater plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) priced at PHP 1,528,000 (US$ 26,600).

The Tiggo rEV LE is based on the brand's hybrid SUV and features a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine paired with a dedicated hybrid transmission. The system delivers 201 PS and 310 Nm of torque, providing a combined electric and hybrid range of up to 1,400 kilometres.

It is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring. It also includes a 540-degree camera system with dynamic guidelines and an integrated digital video recorder.

The interior of the Tiggo rEV LE includes a 15.6-inch floating infotainment display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Additional features include ventilated front seats, a heads-up display, panoramic sunroof, smart proximity key access, and a Sony 12-speaker sound system.

Other conveniences include hidden-type exterior door handles and remote engine start with brake pedal trigger.

It operates on Chery's Super Hybrid system, compatible with both Type 2 and CCS2 charging standards

This enables it to function as a zero-emission vehicle in electric mode while maintaining flexible range options for longer journeys. The Chery Tiggo rEV LE is now available at dealerships nationwide and is on display at the Chery Super Hybrid Roadshow at SM Ortigas until 25th September 2025.
