Neta EP41 EV station wagon unveiled

Hozon Auto's Neta released an official photograph of the EP41 station wagon less than a week after first spy photos of this model had leaked online.
Based on the Neta S sedan, the new EV will be revealed at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2024. The EP41 will adopt Hesai's AT128 LiDAR sensor. According to previous information provided by media sources, it will be priced below RMB 300,000 (US$ 42,380).
Neta's current model line in the domestic market comprises four cars: Neta Aya, Neta X, Neta GT, and Neta S. Soon, the Neta L crossover will start sales in China. The brand's latest addition is an electric shooting brake (station wagon, kombi) codenamed EP41.
Last week, the first spy photo of the Neta station wagon leaked online. It has a sleek body with hidden door handles, blackened B-pillars, and a low beltline. From the back, it has a roof spoiler and a rear windshield wiper.
Other fine features of this car are red brake callipers and five-spoke rims. Later, another spy photo of the Neta EP41 leaked, and netizens started calling it the "Neta S Station Wagon".
Neta was forced to disclose some information on their newest model. So, the co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Neta Auto, Zhang Yong, shared a picture of the Neta EP41 wrapped in camouflage.
He shared "that this station wagon stands on the new Shanhai 2.0 architecture. The EP41 will be revealed at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2024. It will also be equipped with the AT128 LiDAR sensor from Hesai on the roof."
Previously, Zhang Yong mentioned that this sensor will play a vital role in the perception module of the Neta Pilot advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) system.
Neta Auto's CEO disclosed that EP41 will start deliveries in mid-2024. According to previously disclosed information, it will be priced below RMB 300,000.
Currently, there is no information about the EP41's size and powertrain. Neta S, has dimensions of length 4980mm, width 1980mm, height 1450mm with a wheelbase of 2980mm.
It is available in both EV and EREV variants. The top-trim Neta S has a peak power of 340 kW and a range of 650 km.
In 2024, Neta aims to enter 50 global markets. It's key regions being South-East Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. However, Neta is also eager to enter Europe, signing a memorandum of understanding with BNP Paribas. The EP41 station wagon is the best model to meet the high requirements of European buyers.
