TVS Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition launched

TVS has launched an all-new colour scheme for the Apache RTR 160, called the Racing Edition.

It comes in matte black along with red race-inspired graphics. Additionally, TVS has given it faux carbon fibre inserts on the tank, tail, number plate holder and side panels, along with a set of wheels finished in red.

The motorcycle is mechanically unchanged and has received only cosmetic updates. The Apache RTR 160 is powered by a 159cc single-cylinder that produces 16.26 PS at 8,750rpm and 13.85 Nm at 7,000rpm. Features include an LCD instrument cluster that supports Bluetooth connectivity.

It has three riding modes: Sport, Urban and Rain. The TVS Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition is priced at Rs. 130,000 (US$ 1,550) (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is Rs. 1,500 more than the standard Apache RTR 160.
