Jetour Motor Indonesia plans to launch three new models by the end of 2025.
Although the specific models have not yet been officially announced, one will feature an internal combustion engine (ICE), while the remaining two will be battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
Jacky Yang, President Director of Jetour Motor Indonesia, stated that Jetour intends to introduce both ICE and BEV models within 2025, followed by a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) model in 2026.
"It is not yet possible to disclose the specific models. An announcement may be made in a few months, but for now, the details remain confidential," Yang said in Makassar on 16th June 2025.
He mentioned that Jetour, established in 2018, has focused on internal combustion engine technology. He also noted that demand for Chinese electric vehicles in Indonesia has influenced the decision to introduce ICE and BEV models first.
"Regarding PHEVs, these are viewed as a potential next step. Such models are beginning to attract interest in Indonesia, but their launch will follow that of electric vehicles," Yang further added.
There has been an unofficial indication of the models to be released. Moch Ranggy Radiansyah, Marketing Director of Jetour Motor Indonesia, stated during a recent visit to China that the T2, X50e, and X20e are scheduled for launch this year.
The T2 will be available in both petrol (ICE) and PHEV variants. It is expected that the ICE version will be introduced first, with the PHEV following in 2026.
It is a sport utility vehicle (SUV) with off-road capability and two engine options: a 1,500 cc and a 2,000 cc turbocharged engine.
The X50e, an electric SUV, is scheduled to be presented in Indonesia at the 2025 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS).
It is equipped with a front-wheel-drive electric motor producing 165 PS and 280 Nm of torque. A 53.6 kWh battery provides an estimated range of approximately 401 km on a full charge. Charging from 20% to 80% takes about 40 minutes.
The X20e is a compact electric city car. While detailed specifications have not yet been released, the model is expected to be launched later in 2025.
