Scania introduced three new products at GIICOMVEC 2024

United Tractors (UT), the official distributor of Scania in Indonesia has introduced three new products at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) 2024.
At GIICOMVEC 2024, Scania is showcasing the K4110CB-6X2 and K450CB-6X2 buses, as well as the P320-A6X4 truck.
The Scania bus, which was introduced at GIICOMVEC 2024, uses a 6-cylinder engine with a capacity of 13,000 cc which is claimed to be compatible with bio diesel up to B100. The K410CB model has 416 PS and 2,150 Nm of torque at 1,000-1,300 rpm. The K450Cb-6x2*4 variant has 456 PS of power and 2,350 Nm of torque at 1,000-1,300 rpm.
Istiqo Projo, GM Truck Marketing Operation Division and Truck Sales United Tractors said, "Both Scania bus variants have large torque characteristics at lower revs, which results in more efficient fuel consumption."
The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology embedded in this engine is claimed to be able to meet Euro5 emission standards, and this has an impact on exhaust gases that are more efficient and more environmentally friendly, fuel consumption is more efficient, and maintains optimal engine performance in various road conditions.
Meanwhile, Scania also introduced the Scania P320-46X4 on-road truck which is claimed to have several advantages. The Scania P32-X46X4 diesel engine is claimed to provide the best fuel consumption efficiency in its class.
On paper, the engine with the capacity of 9 litres is capable of producing 324 PS and 1,600 Nm of torque at 1,050 to 1,400 rpm. The engine complies with Euro5 emission standard and is compatible with bio diesel up to B100.
