Piaggio has officially launched the Vespa 946 Dragon in Indonesia.

Designed to represent the Year of the Wooden Dragon 2024, the Vespa 946 Dragon comes in gold with dragon mythological animal ornaments that stretch from the side body to the front shield. This limited edition Vespa was produced exclusively with only 1,888 units on sale across the world.

Vespa 946 Dragon takes the philosophy of the dragon, a mythological creature with power and signs of prosperity. Managing Director and Country chief executive officer (CEO) of Piaggio Indonesia, Marco Noto La Diega said, "We are very proud to be able to bring the Vespa 946 Dragon, a highly anticipated exclusive product, to Indonesia, it's presence also means presenting a new legend, story and icon."

The Vespa 946 Dragon comes equipped with various fashion items and accessories, such as the Dragon Helmet and Dragon Varsity Jacket with a dragon design similar to the vehicle, as well as accessories specifically dedicated to the Vespa 946 Dragon, such as a flyscreen with gold ornaments and a leather rear bag with a material that is the same as vehicle seats.

The Vespa Dragon varsity jacket is made from knit and nappa leather, with embroidery on the left pocket and back panel. The front panel of the jacket features a Vespa-style V monogram juxtaposed with an embroidered emerald green dragon on the back, and an ancient Chinese proverb on the front.

The Vespa 946 Dragon has been officially launched in Indonesia at a price of IDR 267 million (US$ 17,090). The Vespa 946 Dragon collection, such as the Varsity Jacket, Dragon Helmet, and vehicle accessories (flyscreen & rear bag), are sold separately.
